Uzbekistan`s gold and foreign exchange reserves have reached a record $75 billion.

Uzbekistan’s gold and foreign exchange reserves reached a historic record, exceeding $75 billion as of February 1, 2026, the country’s Central Bank reported.

At the end of December 2025, their volume amounted to $66.3 billion, which means an increase of more than $8 billion in just one month — an unprecedented figure in the entire history of statistical records.

The physical gold reserves at the beginning of February were estimated at 12.8 million troy ounces, compared to 12.6 million ounces in December 2025. The value of gold reached $64.9 billion, showing growth of nearly 18%.

At the same time, the foreign currency portion of the reserves amounted to $9.5 billion, decreasing compared to $10.64 billion in December last year.
