Ulugbek Ruziyev graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys (MISiS) in 2016 and began his career at Almalyk MMC. Since 2024, he has served as Deputy Chairman of the Board for Operations at Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK). He earned his Doctor of Technical Sciences (DSc) in 2019 for research on WC-VC-Co hard alloys and developed a patented method for producing tungsten nanopowder. He has published 14 scientific works and holds multiple patents across more than 30 research projects, including technologies now used by enterprises in Uzbekistan and abroad.
