Uzbekistan has gained more than $232 million from copper exports

According to the information service of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, in the five months of 2024, exports of products totaling 232,471,000 US dollars were carried out, the forecast indicator was fulfilled by 107%.

20,069 tons of copper, 11,211 tons of zinc, 310 tons of molybdenum products, 8,386 tons of lead concentrate were supplied to foreign consumers.

In addition, the forecast indicators for the export of rhenium, cadmium, copper sulfate, palladium powder were fulfilled.

Today, AGMK exports products to more than 20 countries around the world. The geography of exports is expanding every year. In particular, in 2023, new export markets for copper rod and copper sulfate were developed – these are the United States of America, Mexico and Finland.
